Together, we will explore the CHANCE framework and uncover practical strategies to design and facilitate meaningful learning experiences—ones that recognise, honor, and build upon the full humanity, lived experiences, and rich cultural backgrounds of learners, particularly those in displaced or vulnerable contexts.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Apply the principles of humanising and culturally responsive pedagogy, with a specific focus on supporting learners in refugee and displaced contexts.
• Design inclusive and meaningful digital learning experiences using critical digital pedagogy and narrative-based approaches to enhance learner engagement, dignity, and belonging.
• Create digital storytelling projects, using appropriate tools, techniques, and rubrics to promote learner voice, creativity, and reflection.
• Reflect on personal teaching practices and outline concrete steps to implement more human-centered, culturally responsive, and digitally inclusive strategies.
• Integrate the CHANCE framework into teaching and learning practices by exploring its core themes and developing a personal plan for sustained professional growth.
